We’re named after a small meandering creek in Northeast Pennsylvania. Why? For no other reason than it cut through the property of our founder when he was a young boy. He could often be found along its banks reading a book. Of course, that was decades ago.
Since then, he’s gone on to a successful career as a writer, editor, and publisher. He’s worked in nearly every aspect of the book business and is happy to bring his talents to this new and exciting venture.
In our early days, we’re only going to publish humorous books, whether funny themselves or in some way related to the business of comedy. While we have plans to expand into other areas, we’re just not ready yet. Think of it as small steps, like that small creek in Pennsylvania. With any luck, it’ll lead to something bigger.
